Creating a Romantic Outdoor Atmosphere Using Natural Aroma Therapy With Plants

The placement of fragrant plantings throughout your landscape can help put you (and your partner) in the mood for love. “Aroma therapy” is the therapeutic use of plant-derived, aromatic essential oils to promote physical and psychological well-being. The fragrance released from these aromatic plantings can create a romantic setting for some great alfresco sex!

Apple Blossoms:  Drop freshly picked blossoms in your bath to draw the “bee” to the blossom. Carrying the blossoms on your person increases your popularity and charisma.

Frangipani:  The flowers are used to gain the confidence or trust of a person that you desire.

Jasmine Flowers: The fragrance from blooming Jasmine flowers are said to ensure a successful seduction.

Lavender:  Kept as a plant in the home or stuffed inside a pillow, this sweet smelling herb is thought to straighten out marital problems and ensure fidelity.

Orange Blossoms: Evergreen Citrus trees like Oranges are a terrific medium sized shade tree. When in bloom the heady fragrance from the blossoms have been known to attract a marriage proposal.

Myrtle:  A sprig of myrtle kept in the bedroom, on a mirror or hung above the bed is said to increase fertility.

Rosemary:  Rosemary can be planted as a groundcover, medium or full sized shrub. The oils released from the leaves are said to help bind two people together in a gentle loving manner. This drought tolerant shrub is a good choice for full sun gardens around pool sand spas.

Sweet Pea: An attraction flower. The plant is kept in the garden to attract friends and lovers. Bathing in the flowers is thought to increase popularity.
